
Swing Check Valves are used to prevent the back flow of fluid by closing before flow reversal, thereby preventing slam and water hammer. Swing Check Valves have been successfully installed in clean and dirty applications including sewage treatment, water treatment, water distribution, industrial water and wastewater services. The designs meet or exceed the current revision of AWWA Standard C508.

SLANDING DISC CHECK VALVE
Slanding Disc Check Valves are very reliable and efficient check valve in design. The disc pivot point is off center which shows the closing of the disc. Split body design(two half – top & bottom body) increases the flow area around the disc by creating very low head loss. Slanding Disc Check Valves is a metal to metal seated valve. These valves are available as a free swinging, free open/controlled close, or controlled open/close. SDCV are mostly used for maximum efficiency in power plants and water pumping stations.

DUAL PLATE CHECK VALVE
The Dual Plate Check Valve is an all purpose non-return valve that is much stronger, lighter in weight and smaller in size compared to a conventional swing check valve or lift check valve.
The Dual Plate Check Valve design is the outcome of attempts to solve the problems associated with conventional swing check valve and lift check valve. The Dual Plate Check Valve employs two spring-loaded plates hinged on a central hinge pin. When the flow decreases, the plates close by the action of torsion spring before flow reversal takes place. This design offers the twin advantages of No Water Hammer and Non Slam simultaneously.
The Valve design conforms to API 594 as well as API 6D except face-to-face dimensions of ANSI 125 Cast Iron valves of sizes 50mm (2”) to 300mm (12”). Dual Plate Check Valves are available in Wafer design, Soft Seating are available. Soft Seats are integrally moulded type.
Dual Plate Check Valves are used for applications like Water supply systems, Fire Water systems, Cooling Water, Chilled/Hot Water systems, Boiler Feed Water, Sea Water, Potable Water, Raw Water etc.
